Launch of the Clean Hydrogen Mission

Mission Innovation (MI) is a global initiative that gathers 22 countries and the European Commission to catalyse the action and investments in research, development and demonstration to make clean energy affordable and accessible. In light of the international collaboration activities of the CCUS SET-Plan, Mission Innovation represents an important stakeholder. The recently launched Clean Hydrogen Mission aligns with CCUS SET-Plan Implementation target 6, which focuses on capture technologies that enable low-emission hydrogen production, and with targets 8 and 9 on the use of clean hydrogen in CCU technologies.
