IEA report Net Zero by 2050 – A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector

The International Energy Agency roadmap lays down a pathway for the global energy sector to reach net-zero by 2050. The report identifies CCUS as one of the key pillars to decarbonise energy systems. This global analysis links well to the CCUS SET-Plan review on the role of CCS and CCU in future EU decarbonisation scenarios and is also of interest for the upcoming CCUS EU Roadmap 2030, which will provide focused and clear information about the role of CCS and CCU in reaching EU’s climate targets.
